Together, we raised $174,361 during Fall Fund Drive!

Our goal was $150,000, and you helped blow right past it by more than $24,000. We are all blown away by the generosity of you, our community! 

We here at DANCE 89.5 want you to know how much your gift mattered. It didn’t matter if it was $5 or $5,000, your first gift ever, a bump to your monthly gift or a little extra to cover a fellow listener. The love for this station and enthusiasm to give to something this good was so real you could literally feel it in the room.

When we lost our CPB funding last summer, it left a real hole in our budget, and honestly, it was a little scary. You helped us fill a big chunk of it. That means we are well on our way to not needing a summer fund drive in 2027, which means more dancing and less asking!

It also means we can keep doing what we love. We’ll keep digging for the next big track and getting it to you before anyone else hears it. Our students will keep showing up to the studio, learning to host, produce and run the board, and finding their voices on air. Our DJs, the folks you wake up with, drive home with and dance in the kitchen with, will keep the party going all year long. And we get to stay independent, just like we’ve been for 55 years.

The drive may be over, but the need sure isn’t. That CPB money isn’t coming back, and since we’re self-funded, every gift that comes in now still makes a real difference. If you’re thinking about it, a monthly gift is one of the best ways to help. It gives us steady support we can count on, month after month.
